Volvo Penta MD11C — 23 HP / 17 kW @ 2500 RPM, 2-cyl 1.1 L. 1.0 kW Bosch starter cranks at ~110 A (~220 A inrush); 35–55 A Bosch alternator standard. Very common 26–30 ft Swedish cruisers — sister of the MD17C.

Sized against ABYC E-11 — the US reference, and what Transport Canada accepts as an alternative to TP 1332 for pleasure craft under 24 m. The Crimp engine applies its ordinary continuous-load headroom, voltage-drop budget, terminal clamp, and standard fuse ladder. The 9.8 ft one-way run is a stated reference, not a universal installation prescription.
