What does the GX Touch 70 connect to?

The 7-inch GX Touch 70 is a display accessory for a compatible Cerbo GX host. It has no independent battery-monitoring electronics, DC screw terminals or direct 12 V feed. Connect the attached cable's HDMI plug for video and USB plug for power to the host as shown in its installation manual. USB alone does not provide the display image.

Crimp therefore shows this accessory without battery terminals. Do not connect battery voltage to either plug or add the former schematic's positive/negative battery leads. The host's DC supply belongs in the electrical plan; the display connection is additional equipment wiring.

Which mounting version is covered?

This is the standard GX Touch 70, measuring 113 × 176 × 13.5 mm, with 1024 × 600 resolution and a 2 m cable. The separate Flush version has different dimensions, mounting parts and sealing provisions. Use the drawing for the version on the label before cutting a panel.

The standard display is IP54 excluding its connectors. Keep the HDMI/USB connections protected and provide strain relief. Route the cable before fixing the display so it reaches the host without tension. The datasheet distinguishes the standard top/wall mounting arrangement from the Flush model.

How is power consumption budgeted?

The downloaded Cerbo/GX Touch datasheet gives 2.8 W at 12 V for the host alone, and 3.8–4.8 W at 12 V with a GX Touch, depending on backlight state. Those are combined-system figures. They are not a separate display fuse rating or evidence of a direct battery supply. Other host generations and USB accessories can change the total; use the host's own manual and budget attached equipment too.

What should be checked if the screen is blank?

Confirm the Cerbo is powered, both plugs are seated, and the USB connection is a powered port supported by that host. Then check the host's display settings and software. A blank screen does not prove that the battery monitor or charger has lost power; those devices communicate with the Cerbo separately.
