3 m one way
33.82 V panel Vmp
- Wire
- 1.5 mm² · 16 AWG
- Example fuse
- 20 A
- Design current
- 13.0 A
- Voltage drop
- 2.7%
Sized against ABYC E-11. The design current is the part's continuous draw. The length is one way; voltage drop includes an equal-length return.
Run-length and manufacturer assumptions
The editable example uses 3.048 m (10 ft) runs unless a shorter run is stated. Metric overviews round these to 3 m. Adapt the parts and lengths to your installation before choosing cable and protection.
Supporting parts
- 6.1 m total of 1.5 mm² (16 AWG) marine cable
- Terminations for 1.5 mm² cable, matched to the equipment's screw terminals, leads or studs
- 20 A fuse and holder on the positive run
- Heat-shrink, strain relief and terminal boots sized to the cable
Check stud sizes, fuse type, run length and how warm the space gets against the gear you actually have before you order.

Match the TR 60M JKM440M-6TL4-V
Jinko's TR JKM430-450M-6TL4-(V)-A1-PT sheet explicitly includes JKM440M-6TL4-V. It is a 440 W, 120-half-cell monofacial TR 60M panel; the catalog's unsupported Tiger Pro description has been corrected. The manufacturer-authored Portuguese sheet is archived by SecondSol. Its 440 W STC column, page 2, confirms 33.82 V Vmp, 13.01 A Imp, 40.92 V Voc and 13.69 A Isc.
A separate earlier no-suffix sheet differs slightly. Use the matching nameplate and revision when adding modules to an existing string rather than assuming all Jinko 440 W modules are interchangeable.
Check the MPPT input before stringing panels
For a 12 V battery, use an MPPT controller that accepts the panel's higher working voltage. The Voc temperature coefficient is −0.28%/°C; calculate cold-weather voltage for the complete series string. The sheet also gives +0.048%/°C Isc and −0.35%/°C power coefficients.
Series wiring adds voltage; parallel wiring adds current and possible reverse current into a faulted branch. Check the controller's PV short-circuit-current limit as well as its power and voltage ratings. The table lists 1000/1500 V module-system variants; verify the actual module label rather than selecting the higher figure automatically.
Protect and support the output wiring
The maximum series-fuse rating is 25 A. This ceiling is not a universal fuse recommendation or a connector rating. Determine the need and size of string fuses from the actual array, cable and controller design. Crimp's 20 A terminal allowance remains a planning envelope.
The sheet shows output cable lengths of 290 mm positive and 145 mm negative, or customized lengths. Verify the connector fitted to the supplied panel before choosing extensions; the exact reviewed sheet does not establish one universal mating connector. Secure leads against the frame without tension at the junction box, verify polarity, and isolate before making or breaking connections.
Design the support around the frame drawing
This revision lists 1868 × 1134 × 30 mm and 24.2 kg. The engineering drawing identifies frame geometry and mounting-hole spacing. Use that drawing with the matching installation instructions and mounting-system load data; do not infer clamp positions or torque from a different Jinko generation.
Keep drainage and rear ventilation clear, protect the glass during handling, and avoid lifting by cables. The datasheet's wind/snow test claims are module qualification data, not proof that an arbitrary vehicle roof or bracket arrangement meets the same load capability. Obtain the actual installation manual before final structural attachment.
