Open this example in Crimp to use your own parts and cable lengths. Review the assumptions and installation notes as you adapt the circuit.
SC-TILE-20 dual USB-C, black bezel; SC-TILE-21 has the same electrical specification with a stainless bezel. The example budgets the published 6 A maximum input on either 12 V or 24 V. Rev B requires suitable supply protection but does not prescribe a fuse rating; the displayed fuse is a planning result. Preserve and protect the supplied 18 AWG leads and check extensions. Interior use only, away from water and hazardous/flammable atmospheres. Two hours per day is an editable usage assumption. Manufacturer installation manual

Run-length and manufacturer assumptions
The editable example uses 3.048 m (10 ft) runs unless a shorter run is stated. Metric overviews round these to 3 m. Adapt the parts and lengths to your installation before choosing cable and protection.

Supporting parts
- 20 ft total of 13 AWG (2.5 mm²) marine cable
- Terminations for 13 AWG cable, matched to the equipment's screw terminals, leads or studs
- 7.5 A fuse and holder on the positive run
- Heat-shrink, strain relief and terminal boots sized to the cable
Check stud sizes, fuse type, run length and how warm the space gets against the gear you actually have before you order.

Which TILE charger is this?
SC-TILE-20 is Scanstrut's dual-USB-C interior charger with a black bezel. SC-TILE-21 has a stainless bezel and the same electrical specification. These differ from the USB-A/C SC-TILE-10/11 models.
Scanstrut's product page describes USB-C charging up to 36 W on a 12 V system or 60 W on 24 V. These output values are not the DC supply demand.
How is it represented in Crimp?
The manufacturer's Rev B instructions specify 10–32 V DC and 6 A maximum input. Crimp budgets that maximum at either nominal voltage, without assuming a fixed-power conversion curve. Actual consumption varies with connected devices. Two hours of daily use is editable; standby draw below 0.1 W is not separately simulated.
How do I wire and mount it?
Connect red to protected DC positive and black to negative. Preserve the supplied 18 AWG leads; protect the leads and any extension. Rev B requires suitable protection without specifying a fuse rating, so Crimp's displayed fuse is a planning result.
Use a dry interior location, away from water and hazardous/flammable atmospheres. The mounting cutout is 29 mm; check rear clearance and the manufacturer's template. The two USB-C sockets are device outputs, not battery-charging terminals.
