Connection and installation overview

Running/startup current is unpublished in the installation guide; 0.34 kWh/day is not instantaneous draw. Stocko power and optional CI-bus require the separate documented pin map, including unconnected CI ground.

Which refrigerator and energy figure are covered?

This is the T2090C touchscreen compressor refrigerator in the T2000 installation manual. The model table, page 7, gives a 0.34 kWh/24 h laboratory energy figure under its stated ISO test conditions. It does not publish a running or startup current for this entry. Converting that daily energy to a constant current would understate compressor wiring requirements, so the current field remains unknown.

What is the exact connector map?

The connector table, page 8, identifies the Stocko VV2041 power connector: pin 1 is red positive and pin 2 is white negative. Its separate Molex CI-bus connector has pin 1 white data and pin 2 white/blue ground. The catalog marks the latter as leave open, because the electrical instructions on page 21 explicitly prohibit connecting the CI-bus ground. Appliance and master instead share the main supply ground as instructed; the CI contacts must not become power rails.

Which fuse and cable are required?

Protect the positive feed with 15 A near the source. The page 8 table specifies 2.5 mm² for cable length below 2.5 m, 4 mm² below 4 m, or 6 mm² below 6 m. Maintain 10.4–16 V at the refrigerator. Follow the manual's length convention and retain service slack; do not replace these requirements with a wire size derived from the daily energy test.

What installation details distinguish T2090C?

The ventilation diagram, page 14, specifies the T2090C's bottom, rear and upper clearances. Keep its airflow route open. The extra side-vent requirement for T2090E is a different model instruction. Page 21 also calls for house-battery supply, storage isolation and the applicable CI-bus master protection.

How is it commissioned?

Check the power connector cavities and polarity before energising, then measure loaded voltage, test cooling and verify the controls. Leave optional CI-bus wiring disconnected unless its complete master installation is verified. The detail page provides a connector and installation overview because neither a complete running-current specification nor a universal control topology is established by this manual.

Build it out

Connect it to the rest of your system.

Add T2090C to your diagram, then connect your batteries, chargers and loads. Crimp calculates cable sizes and checks the connections as you draw.

Every cable you draw there is sized against ABYC E-11, from the same tables as the reference on this page.

Supporting parts

  1. A lug or terminal to match each post on the part
  2. Strain relief and boots so nothing chafes or shorts
  3. Cable and fuses sized once the whole system is drawn

Check stud sizes, fuse type, run length and how warm the space gets against the gear you actually have before you order.

Method & provenance

Where the specifications and sizing come from.

Manufacturer specifications describe the equipment. Crimp calculates cable results from the circuit and assumptions you enter.

What the catalog says

Manufacturer, model, ratings and which terminal does what come from the catalog. A newer revision, or the nameplate on the unit in your hand, can say something different — when it does, the nameplate wins.

ABYC E-11

What Crimp worked out

Sized against ABYC E-11. Boats built to UK or EU rules answer to ISO 13297 — check these figures against it before you build. The run length and the current above are what drive the result. Crimp doesn't know how warm your space gets; draw the cable inside an engine-bay zone on the canvas and it sizes for the heat.
