Dometic CFX3 35 wiring diagram

The CFX3 35 has 36 L total volume and accepts 12/24 V DC or 100–240 V AC. Its table rates DC current at 7.5 A on 12 V and 3.3 A on 24 V. Do not borrow the CFX3 25, 45 or dual-zone model currents from adjacent columns. Daily energy depends on ambient temperature, setpoint and use; the catalog operating-hours assumption is separate from the current rating.

`+` and `−` represent the DC inlet through the supplied lead. Keep the fused DC plug: the connection instructions explicitly prohibit removing it. The device also has separate DC and AC fuse holders; replace a failed fuse with the same type and rating as the fitted original. Check the label and cable supplied with the regional unit rather than inferring fuse size from 7.5 A running current.

The 12 V low/medium/high cut-out settings are 10.1/11.2/11.8 V, with restart at 11.4/12.2/12.6 V. For 24 V they are 21.5/24.1/24.6 V, restarting at 23.0/25.3/26.2 V. Select protection for the battery being used, especially when starting reserve matters. Low setting is not a substitute for a battery-management system.

Keep cooling vents clear and measure voltage at the inlet during compressor operation if a low-voltage alert appears. A thin extension or poor socket can produce a fault even with adequate battery voltage. The manual covers settings from −22°C to +10°C; freezing use is a different energy case from refrigeration. The drawing omits AC operation, USB charging, wireless control and the compressor duty cycle, so an energy budget should be checked against the installed unit.
